Cameron Optometry is a locally owned business with locations in Nowra, Ulladulla and Bateman’s Bay.

In 1986, optometrist Craig Cameron saw the need for excellent vision care and products in Ulladulla and Bateman’s Bay. He opened both locations that year.

Over time Cameron Optometry grew steadily, with local people trusting the knowledge of Craig and his staff. They also appreciated the fact that they could purchase the latest and most fashionable eyewear locally.

Always listening to client feedback, Craig found that demand was growing for a shop in Nowra as well. So in 2005 Craig opened a third boutique, in the Nowra CBD. 

Craig’s staff feel valued and appreciated by him, too. So they nominated him for the inaugural Shoalhaven Boss of the Year awards in 2008. Craig placed high despite the strong competition -- as the only runner-up -- much to the enthusiastic delight of his loyal staff.
